The elements of Ashtanga yoga help to cleanse the body, still the mind and support the development of strength and flexibility of body and mind. They also form a basis for more advanced breath control and meditation practices.

In this class you will be guided through part of the primary series of the Ashtanga yoga system. You will get to know Sun Salutations A and B, the standing & sitting postures and the closing Asanas. You will also learn the proper way of breathing throughout the Asanas, Drishti, Bandhas, Mudras and all the essential basics. Over time, you will build a familiarity with the sequence and poses, enabling you to build your own practice which is in line with your mental conditions and body.
These classes are well suited for beginners. Everyone, with or without Yoga experience, is more than welcome.
The new series contain 2 lessons instead of 4, so you have more flexibility in when you would like to particpate. All the series are a part of an ongoing program in which you can join any time!
